Oh man DJ Aptem is the coolest! First off, he’s Russian and has a sweet buzz-cut. Secondly, he built a pair of cassette-turntables with a jog wheel, pitch controls, eqs and the like! Retro and cool, but also effective in self-sampling and sweet tape-scrubbing based bring-me-back-to-paris-in-1948-babeee kinda stuff.
